2008 Exercise Log

The running and exercise log for 2008 is now available. This Excel workbook makes it easy to keep track of your workouts on a daily basis. Complete instructions can be found on the "Instructions" worksheet. Some of the features included are:

  • Daily entry of events: run, bike, blade, swim, step and lift.
  • Automated speed and pace calculation. Automated roll-up by week, month and year.
  • Multiple events on the same day. Search and summaries. Form for adding split times.
  • Various tables for target heart rate, BMI (body mass index), and English-Metric conversions.
  • Calorie calculation for running and biking events based on weight and speed.
Some experience using Excel is helpful but not required.
 
Spinning® Trainer

I created two spreadsheets for Spinning enthusiasts and instructors. Spin-Master 2008 is an enhanced version of the exercise log that includes Spinning profiles. Spin Profiles is primarilly forSpinning instructors. It contains graphical Spin symbols and sample profiles including music. Instructions can be found on the "Start" worksheet. Many of the features Exercise Log features are included.
